Two third places in their respective races and circuit leader jerseys put in the showcase. This was the epilogue of Internazionali d'Italia Series 2025 for the U19 Giorgia Pellizotti and the Under23 Lucia Bramati, who today in Esanatoglia put the icing on a positive first part of the season.

In the final stage of the international circuit, the 22-year-old finished in third place overall, preceded by the Chilean champion Catalina Vidaurre and Nicole Pesse, both Elite: a result that allows her to confirm herself as the best Under 23 on the circuit and to lead the general Open Women's ranking, leaving all the elites behind her, starting with her former teammate Nicole Pesse.

«I dedicate these jerseys to the team, which every week puts us in the ideal conditions to race in races that are fundamental for our growth», Lucia said. «Today was very tough, more than expected. I suffered a lot, perhaps because of the heat, but I tried to manage it as best I could. Since next year I will move up to the Elite, winning the stage in my category has a special flavor: it is the worthy conclusion of the four-year period among the U23s».

Bronze medal also for Giorgia Pellizotti, who finished the race behind Elisa Ferri and Nicole Azzetti, confirming her lead in the general ranking reserved for Under 19 athletes: in the five races of the circuit, the athlete from Treviso collected two victories, two second places and today's third place, demonstrating their competitiveness on any terrain.

«This jersey has a huge meaning for me: it's the first one I've won in mountain biking»,remembered Giorgia. «I am very proud that I was able to maintain the necessary clarity to defend myself until the end. The course and the heat were not ideal for me, but I gave it my all.I knew that the opponents were getting closer race after race, so it was essential to stay focused».

If the two winners have shown great solidity since the first race in San Zeno di Montagna,Pietro Cao's growth is impressive. He almost won among the U19s today, being preceded in the sprint by Ettore Fabbro. Pietro (photocredit Alessio Pederiva), who started the season with some good placings in the top 5, changed gear from May onwards, starting to climb steadily onto the podium. As happened today in Esanatoglia, where Cao conquered the second place also in the final awards, having classified behind Elia Rial in the general standing.

But the day was also positive for U19 Alice Pascucci, who left behind a few difficult weeks by finishing in eighth place, while in the Open race Marco Bramati, fresh from his high school diploma, concluded his competition in 34th place, 23rd among the Under 23s.

A bitter ending instead for Cristian Bernardi, forced to retire due to a physical problem when he was fighting for a top 10 in the Open competition.
