On sunny days, San Zeno di Montagna is a relaxing place from which to enjoy a splendid view of Lake Garda. But today, due to the copious rainfall of these days, the tracks of the Verona resort have turned into a hell of mud and puddles that has excited the athletes of the Trinx Factory Team, engaged in the International d'Italia Series first round. As already happened in Verona and Albenga, the eight boys directed by Luca Bramati have put themselves in evidence, obtaining a victory, a second place in category and three other top 10 in races in which the gotha of the European mtb participated.

«Never like today all the boys, but also the staff that supported them, deserve a big applause», confirms the team manager Bramati. «This was the first test where weather conditions could put anyone in trouble; instead, our team proved to be at a high level in terms of sport, mechanics and logistics».

High level to which has been confirmed the U19 Giorgia Pellizotti (photocredit Alessio Pederiva) who continues her winning streak that now counts the first places in Adro, Verona, Albenga and, today, San Zeno di Montagna. The young rider from Treviso, in her first year in the category, was more than a minute ahead of Nicole Azzetti, winning the leader’s jersey of the circuit. Another good confirmation also for Alice Pascucci, who improved the performance of a week ago in Albenga closing sixth.

Performance of the highest level also that of Lucia Bramati, who in the Women’s Open race won by Jolanda Neff was ranked eighth, second among the Italian and second among the girls of the U23 category: the rider from Sandrigo, already winner of the circuit last season, will try to take the jersey in a week in the new stage in the Argentario.

In the men’s Open competition, another great performance by the young Belgian Sverre Van Lee, who confirmed his driving skills by finishing fifteenth overall, sixth among the Under 23. The new entry of the Trinx Factory Team (photocredit Alessio Pederiva) was by far the best of the 2006 class athletes at the finish line, demonstrating on an insidious track everything that was said about his qualities. In the same race, 47th position for Marco Bramati, while Cristian Bernardi was forced to retire.

To open the day, in the rain, were the 109 U19s at the start: also in these race, good insights from the two young of the squad. Pietro Cao, unlucky a week ago in Albenga, confirmed that he could play for the top positions by finishing fourth. The seventeen year old, only on the last lap, had to give up the third step of the podium to former Italian champion Elia Rial. Flavio Dispensa also confirmed his growth: after the 41st place in Verona and the 25th in Liguria, Flavio rises up the ranking closing to the 23rd place, seventh among the bikers class 2008.

To have another demonstration of the good athletes of the Trinx Factory Team will just wait a week: Saturday 22 the team will participate in the Internazionali d'Italia Series second round, set up for the first time in the promontory of Argentario.
