The magical moment continues for the U19 Giorgia Pellizotti who, in her third appearance wearing the Trinx Factory Team jersey, scores a hat trick by adding to her collection the Coppa Città di Albenga (photocredit Alessandro Di Donato).

The stage for the young athlete’s new show was the Ligurian trails in Campochiesa, where the sixteen-year-old gained a solo victory, leaving behind Elisa Ferri and Nicole Azzetti.

If for Giorgia, who reinforces the leader's jersey of the Italia Bike Cup circuit, the victory was a confirmation, splendid was also the performance of teammate Alice Pascucci: the 17 years old, after her debut a week ago in Verona, proved to be at ease on the Ligurian track, crossing the finish line in seventh position.

Remaining in the women's competition, Under 23 Lucia Bramati managed to defend her leader's jersey in the circuit, despite a difficult day: after a good part of the race, Lucia slipped to 17th position, eighth among the athletes in her category.

Moving on to the men’s categories, elite Cristian Bernardi finished 24th in the race won by his majesty Nino Schurter, while among the Under 23s there was another fine performance by the young Belgian Sverre Van Lee who, after being in contention for a top-5 placement, suffered a physiological drop in the last lap, finishing his effort in seventh position: not bad for an athlete in his first year in the category. Marco Bramati, another biker born in 2006, grabbed 41st place.

The Ligurian day was opened by the U19s, a race in which Flavio Dispensa showed significant progress compared to the Verona race: helped by a little more luck at the start, the biker from Treviso born in 2008 finished 25th. Luck that turned its back on Pietro Cao, who during the first lap, when he was in the leading group, broke his gearbox due to a stone.

«Another great day of sport useful for our athletes to gain experience and improve their shape. But this race was also important for us to test the new dualsuspension bikes on a technical and challenging track like the Ligurian one. The feedback that the athletes gave us is very positive. Now we can't wait to continue the season next week in Monte San Zeno, which will host the first stage of the Internazionali d'Italia Series circuit», said Elena Merenti, manager of the Trinx Factory Team.
