Noemi Plankensteiner, Filippo Agostinacchio and Giorgia Marchet’s results ended the World Championships in Les Gets, at which the Trinx Factory Team has lined up five athletes (highest number among the Italian squad).

In her first World Championship among the U23’s, Noemi Plankensteiner finished in 20th place, repeating the result obtained at the World Championships in Leogang in 2020, when she was in her first season among the Juniors.

Debut among the Under 23 also for Filippo Agostinacchio, who crossed the finish line 46th. His comeback was good, after a complicated start that saw him climb the first ascent in 80th position.

On the other hand, Giorgia Marchet finished in 30th place, in her first year among the Elite: after a good start that saw her pass in 16th place at the end of the first lap, the biker from Feltre suffered the return of her rivals. At the end she ended 30th. A placement similar to those that Giorgia showed in the last World Cup rounds, a competition in which she has already shown that she can already aspire to the top 20, as happened to Leogang and Nove Mesto.

«The track of Les Gets was really demanding, so nothing could be invented», confirms the sport director Luca Bramati. «Our guys have run on their own levels. I'm sure an experience like this will make them grow, as all five are very young. And Valentina's sixth place in her first year among the juniors is a valuable result».

In addition to sixth place in the Cross Country, the Trinx Factory Team's World Championship ends with the silver medal of Valentina Corvi in Team
Relay (in Maxime Schmid’s photo).

«But the result I am most proud is the one of the squad: having five athletes in the World Championship is an extraordinary result for a team that has focused on growing athletes».

Now the Trinx Factory Team will head to Val di Sole for the last round of the World Cup, scheduled in Daolasa from 2 to 4 September.
