The Trinx Factory Team's adventure at the European Championships in Melgaço,Portugal,began with two outstanding performances by Giorgia Pellizotti and Pietro Cao. The two U19s, in the adrenaline-fueled short track races,narrowly missed the podium, cherishing until the very end their dream of debuting at the continental stage with a medal.

In the women's competition, won by Slovenian Maruša Tereza Serkezi ahead of Barbora Bukovska,the new Italian champion (in the photo by Maxime Schmid)finished in fourth place, a handful of seconds behind the Swedish Elinore Nilsson, third.

Spectacular performance also by Pietro Cao, fifth at the end of a very close with seven athletes battle for victory. Great insights for the Trinx Factory Team athlete and the entire Italian national team, which celebrated Federico Rosario Brafa's bronze medal.

In the afternoon, Under 23 Lucia Bramati also competed in the short track, finishing 25th. Therace, open to Elite athletes, was dominated by the experienced Jenny Rissveds, Nicole Koller,and Linda Indergand, while Lucia finished eighth among the athletes in her category.

Tomorrow, the European Championships will continue with the Team Relay, while the Olympic Cross Country races will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
