A PODIUM AND A DOUBLE TOP 5 FOR THE INTERNATIONAL DEBUT OF THE TRINX FACTORY TEAM IN VERONA

After the Cristian Bernardi’s picture on the podium in Capriolo a week ago, the Trinx Factory Team jerseys were also shown theirselves during the award ceremony of the Verona MTB International, first round of the Italia Bike Cup circuit. 

The credit goes to the Italian champion Valentina Corvi, second in the race dedicated to the U19 women, Giorgia Marchet (in the photo alongside, credit Alessio Pederiva), fourth in the race for the Women Elite, and Gioele Bertolini, who closed the top 5 among the men's Elites.


Encouraging results in view of a month that will see the athletes led by sports director Luca Bramati compete in Albenga (Saturday 11 March), San Zeno della Montagna (Saturday 18) and Pergine Valsugana (Sunday 26).

«It was the first face-to-face with the athletes we will compete with during the season», explains Luca Bramati. «We can be satisfied for this comforting starting point: the athletes are doing well and the team is united; now all we need to do is to keep pushing».

In addition to the performances of Giorgia, Valentina and Gioele, the Italian squad reached the eighth place thank’s to Eva Lechner and, in the same race, the fifteenth place of Lucia Bramati, tenth among the U23s.
 
If these are the results of the 'veterans' of the team, there was curiosity to witness the debuts in the international categories of the three U19 Marco Bramati, Daniele Corvi and Marco Guercilena, at the start of a race involving 120 bikers. The three new faces of the Trinx Factory Team fared very well: Guercilena finished in fifteenth place, third among the boys born in 2006 (in Alessio Pederiva’s picture).

Placements also for Daniele Corvi, 33rd, and Marco Bramati, 41st. From Greece arrived moreover Vita Movrin's sixth place in Salamina Epic Race fifth round, in which the Slovenian athlete took part wearing the national team jersey.
