In 2022 she was the athlete who signed the first victory of the year, conquering on her debut the 5th Verona Mtb International; and also the season 2023 of the Trinx Factory Team opened under the sign of Valentina Corvi: the athlete from Tirano finished the Swiss Cyclocross Cup last round in eighth position, first among the Under 19s.

But the race in Meilen didn’t start very well for the Trinx Factory Team biker.

«Ready go and my chain fell off», confirms Valentina Corvi, in the photo by Elisa Haumesser. «A drawback that forced me to come back from the back of the group. I managed to find my pace from the second lap, catching up with the train that fought for eighth position. In the final, I was able to overtake Monique Halter and finish eighth, first among the Juniors».

A good result, in view of a challenging month.

«Sunday I’ll return in Belgium with the national squad for the World Cup round in Zonhoven; then there will be the Italian Championships in Ostia Antica, the last two World Cup rounds, a training camp in Spain with the national team and, if all goes as it should, the call-up for the World Cup in Hoogerheide», lists the European vice-champion.

If Valentina is ready for the pivotal part of the cyclocross season, a new athlete will take his first steps with the Trinx Factory Team jersey on Thursday 5 January. The Under 23 Cristian Bernardi (in the photo) will debut with the new colours in Scorzè on the occasion of the 48th Trofeo Cartoveneta Apci.

For the athlete born in Montebelluna on 24 November 2001, come from the Sogno Veneto Team, it will be a useful test to improve the shape for the Cross Country season.

The new athlete of the team specializes in cross country, a specialty in which he graduated in 2020 and in 2021 as the Veneto champion among the Under 23s. Furthermore, last year in Courmayeur, he finished in second place at the Italian Cross Country Eliminator Championship.

«He is a very serious and determined boy and I have been following his physical training for some years», explains Luca Bramati, Trinx Factory Team sports director. «This will be a chance for him to compete in international races, enriching his technical background and testing himself in the top-level competitions».

A bet on a young prospect, as is in the DNA of the Trinx Factory Team, which on 20 October had already included the 22-year-old Slovenian Vita Movrin in the 2023 team.
