NOVE MESTO (CZE) In the dense forest of Nove Mesto the young Olivia Onesti casts a wonderful spell giving the Trinx Factory Team their first World Cup podium in the history of  the squad.

The French, already fifth and sixth in the first two rounds in Brazil, confirmed herself as one of the world's leading athletes by crossing the finish line in third place, behind the Canadian Isabella Holmgren and the American Madigan Murro (in the photo by Maxime Schmid, the biker directed by Luca Bramati on the third step of the podium).

«I'm really happy because I'm back on the podium of a World Cup race two years after the Leogang 2022 stage», confirmed the biker born in 2003. «My shape is improving day by day and this gives me hope for the upcoming seasonal commitments».

Optimism motivated by the pace shown in the race by Olivia Onesti: constant and profitable from the first to the last lap.

«Olivia is growing a lot, also from a mental point of view», confirms the sports director Luca Bramati. «The results are giving her the peace of mind needed to express herself to the fullest and also to manage the races as best as possible: today she didn't waste energy trying to chase Holmgren, but remained focused on what she had to do; in the end she repelled Emilly Johnston's assault, gaining many seconds even on the athlete in front of her».

Encouraging signs also came from Nicole Pesse, who finished the race in 23rd position, but who until halfway through the race had been able to keep up with the athletes who were fighting for a place in the top 15 (in the photo by Maxime Schmid, the athlete in action).

The U19 Marco Bramati was also able to race on the Czech track today; for him another test on one of the higher technical level race.

Tomorrow it will be the turn of the Slovenian elite Vita Movrin and the young junior Alice Pascucci, in her second Hors Category class race of her career, the first abroad.
