After a bit more than 1500km done in Argentina, Lilla and Pablo arrived in the city on the Bolivian side, Villazón, where they were suddenly immersed in a totally new culture.
Being in Bolivia, you cannot miss the world’s largest salt flat. The way to there was a big challenge: They cycled 210km on mud, rocks and sand over 4500m of altitude at times.
It took them five long days cycling and some breakdown, but what they saw and lived was priceless. The local said that it is the most beautiful time to see it when it has water on the surface. You can not differentiate the sky from the ground and you experience a sensation as you were floating. Let’s enjoy the magic moment with them!
